Patriotic Play At Susky High School

Susquehanna Community School District’s Junior High Drama Students will present a patriotic, one act play on Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. "We the People" is a one act, patriotic play built around the constitution and how it was formed. There is no reserved seating or advance sales. Tickets are $4.00 for adults; $3.00 for students and senior citizens.

Susky Elem. Parent Teacher Conferences

Mr. Robert Keyes, Principal of Susquehanna Community Elementary School, announces that Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences for students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade have been scheduled for Thursday, November 7, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday, November 8, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The conference assignment slips informing each parent of the time and date for their scheduled conference will be sent home with each child on Friday, November 1. Report cards will be passed out during Parent-Teacher Conferences. For those parents unable to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences, report cards will be sent home on Monday, November 11.

It is hoped that these Parent-Teacher Conferences will aid in the development of each child's immediate and future success and that all parents will make an effort to attend their scheduled conferences.

Susky High Parent Teacher Conferences

On Thursday, November 7 from 12:30 – 3:25 and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Friday, November 8 from 12:30 – 3:25 p.m. the Susquehanna Community Junior-Senior High School will conduct Parent/Teacher Conferences for the first nine weeks of the 2002-2003 school year.

Parents interested in discussing curriculum, student problems, or school policy are requested to meet with the teachers and administration at this time. Particularly urged to attend are parents of students whose report card indicates parent conference requested.

It is in the best interest of students when their teachers and parents can meet and discuss progress, which is being made, or problems, which exist. Please make every effort to attend the conferences. If it is impossible to attend at the scheduled time please contact the high school office to arrange for an appointment.

Also on Friday and Saturday the 8th and 9th, the Junior High Theater Department of SCHS will be presenting the play "We the People." Admission is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and senior citizens; time is 7:00 p.m. with no reserved seating.
